Meet Dr. Fisher
I love getting up each day to come to the office. Often, I see young patients who can be shy and self-conscious, but during the course of their orthodontic treatment, they become confident and outgoing young adults. I am proud knowing I may have played a small part in that wonderful transformation. Each patient that comes into my office is different and interesting in their own way. I love that I learn something new from them every day.
I have several staff members who have been with me for over 15 years, and together we make a great team. My greatest asset is the wealth of experience my staff can provide to my patients.
Education and Continuing Education
I consider myself to be a life-long learner which began at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University and was accepted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary dental society. I continued on at Marquette University, earning my Master of Science degree in Orthodontics.
Commitment to the Community
I am currently the President of the Wisconsin Society of Orthodontists, a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Wisconsin Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. Because of these affiliations, I have attended seminars throughout the country, learning new techniques and utilizing new materials. This information helps orthodontic treatment become more efficient and effective for my patients.
Outside the Office
I am originally from Eau Claire and have lived in Peshtigo for over 20 years. My wife, Deb, and I have been married for over 25 years and we have two children. When I’m not in the office, you can find me on the golf course, skiing, watching college basketball, or spending time with my family and friends at our cabin.
